As you may remember, Your Excellency even participated in the inauguration ceremony of the monument we erected here in Israel to mark our respect and admiration for those soldiers of the Red Army. We shall never forget their heroism and their dedication to the defeat of Nazism.”

PM Netanyahu added: “It is hard to imagine what the world would look like today had it not been for the Russian people’s incredible sacrifice. Today, millions across the globe gather to salute those brave men and women who fought to free the world of Nazi tyranny.”
